The Health Ethics and Policy Lab is a multidisciplinary research group established in 2017 at the Department of Health Sciences and Technology (D-HEST) at ETH Zurich. Our current work focuses on the ethical, legal, societal and policy implications of artificial intelligence, precision medicine, biotechnology and digital health. We are looking for an outstanding postdoctoral researcher to work with Prof. Effy Vayena and Dr. Alessandro Blasimme on a Horizon2020 precision medicine project. The project (PRECISE4Q) will develop integrative data driven predictive models for all the four stages of stroke: prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and reintegration. Such models will draw on a variety of data types – from socio-demographic data, to electronic health records, and from lifestyle data to genomic data – with the aim of delivering stage-specific personalized interventions adapted to the specific feature of each patient.
