The Electric Drives and Power Electronic Systems Institute is conducting international leading research in the area of highly efficient and highly compact power electronic systems. Together with Silicon Austria Labs (SAL) a new laboratory called PERL is established conducting fundamental research in the field of high-frequency switched power converters.
We are looking for outstanding, highly motivated people interested in pursuing Ph.D. research (full position, four years) in this multidisciplinary research field with focus on corresponding (resonant) topologies, driving and sensing.
Completed master degree in electrical engineering or physics (or similar).
We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 50,103.20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
