Join the Scanner team of the Advanced Patterning department and become the expert that introduces I-Line lithography for scaling chips in the third dimension.
As microchip scaling continues, the technology is increasingly moving into the third dimension. To develop processes that support patterning into the third dimension, imec are installing an I-Line lithography scanner in the 300mm cleanroom in Leuven (Belgium). We are also strengthening the scanner team of the Advanced patterning department with an R&D engineer in I-Line lithography.
You will become the interface to imec R&D programs that develop the processes to scale in the vertical direction. You will also closely follow the I-Line lithography scanner performance, and work with the tool vendor to ensure corrective actions and maintenance are started when needed. In addition, you will work with the vendor of the scanner to understand challenges that new wafer types bring and develop solutions that ensure high quality processing.
We offer you the opportunity to join one of the world’s premier research centers in nanotechnology at its headquarters in Leuven, Belgium. With your talent, passion and expertise, you’ll become part of a team that makes the impossible possible. Together, we shape the technology that will determine the society of tomorrow.
We are committed to being an inclusive employer and proud of our open, multicultural, and informal working environment with ample possibilities to take initiative and show responsibility. We commit to supporting and guiding you in this process; not only with words but also with tangible actions. Through imec.academy, 'our corporate university', we actively invest in your development to further your technical and personal growth.
We are aware that your valuable contribution makes imec a top player in its field. Your energy and commitment are therefore appreciated by means of a market appropriate salary with many fringe benefits.
