The aim of the project is to design and synthesize new type of hole transport materials and electron transport materials for flexible perovskite solar cells and solid state dye sensitized solar cells. Documented research experiences in preparation and characterization of dyes and hole transport materials on nanostructured semiconductors such as TiO2, using advanced X-ray techniques and photoelectrochemical methods are desired. The performance of the prepared perovskite solar cells will be measured and the results will be analyzed theoretically. The applicant is expected to conduct advanced research in the fields of organic chemistry, materials chemistry and photoelectrochemistry.
We seek candidate with PhD degree in chemistry and postdoc research experience. A successful candidate should have documented research experiences in one or more of the following research areas: crystal engineering of perovskite materials, design and synthesis of organic hole transport materials, X-ray and microscopic techniques, fabrication and performance measurement of solid state solar cells. The applicant should have capability to communicate in English, can work independently as well as group member, and be able to take initiatives and to drive the related research project.
