Its work is geared towards applied research and innovation to meet market needs.

Description:

Mohammed VI Polytechnic University invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow position in innovative prosthesis production. The successful candidate will work with a dynamic team of researchers to develop and optimize novel techniques for the production of prosthetic devices.

Responsibilities: Outline the key responsibilities of the position. This might include:

  • Research innovative materials and production methods for prosthetic devices.

  • Design and execute experiments to optimize the manufacturing process.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate technological advancements into prosthetic design.

  • Publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals.

  • Participating in grant proposals and presentations.

Requirements: Specify the required qualifications and experience for the position. This might include

  • A PhD in a relevant field such as mechanical engineering, materials science, or biomedical engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong background in materials characterization and manufacturing processes.

  • Experience with CAD/CAM software and 3D printing technologies.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a research team.

  • Previous experience in prosthetic device research is preferred but not required.

  • Experience in research related to prosthetics or assistive technologies.

  • Strong background in structural mechanics and modeling.

  • Gate cycle modeling.
