We fund 15 PhD positions (each 36 months) in high-level research institutions all over Europe (FR, IT, SL, DE, HR, CH, NL) within the framework of the EU funded Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action Innovative Training Network ‘MOQS – Molecular Quantum Simulations’. In this project, chemistry, solid-state and quantum optical physics, materials sciences as well as classical and quantum computer science are brought together to develop new and powerful technologies, with applications ranging from chemistry to the pharmaceutical industry. The project offers both, positions in industry and in academia.
Researchers cannot yet hold a PhD and must have less than 4 years of full-time equivalent research experience after obtaining the degree which allows them to embark on a doctorate. Researchers can have any nationality but cannot have been for more than 12 months in the previous 3 years (counted back from the recruitment date) in the country of their future host institution (holidays or short term stays excluded).
