In the framework of the research project "History of Science and its History in Terminology & Translation" that Prof. Gerhard Budin started in 1990, the advertised post-doc position will be primarily dedicated to the further theoretical and methodological development of this research approach.
Duration of employment: 6 year/s
Extent of Employment: 20.0 hours/week
Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: §48 VwGr. B1 lit. b (postdoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.
The tasks include active participation and responsibility for project applications and the acquisition of their-party funding, preparing peer-reviewed publications, developing an independent research profile, presentations at international congresses, writing a habilitation thesis, independent teaching of courses as defined by the collective agreement, supervision of students, participation in evaluation measures and quality assurance, involvement in department administration as well as in teaching and research administration
doctoral degree, proven competences in historical studies, experience in research projects
