“It’s been pretty clear to me from the beginning that a lot of the problems children have learning math are created by teaching,” says unibz Professor Michael Gaidoschik. “At unibz, I have future kindergarten teachers and primary school teachers in my lectures!”
“Although unibz is small, there are many researchers that are very well known at the international level,” says Dr. María Menéndez-Blanco. “Everything is internally organised, and it’s really nicely done. So that’s a big pleasure.” she says.
“We’re quite lucky here, as unibz is a new university and it's growing quite quickly. It's a rare opportunity for a researcher to be able to help build a lab like this from scratch and to realize the long term impact," says professor Karl von Ellenrieder.
Our study programmes evolve naturally from our reasearch activites, so that students of all levels have opportunity to work directly on software development projects that have real-world impact for business, the public, and the international research community.
