Assistant Professor European Human Rights Law
Vacancy number: 15807
Leiden Law School is one of the leading European Law Schools, including in the fields of European Law and Public International Law. One of our key aims is to combine cutting edge research with high-level, academic teaching. This area is broadly understood as including both the system for the protection of human rights, democracy and the rule of law in the context of the Council of Europe, and the protection and promotion of fundamental rights and other core values of the European Union. Our new colleague will be teaching courses, mainly at master’s level; conduct research, independently and in collaboration with colleagues in the university and international networks; and participate in the activities of the Europa Institute of the Faculty of Law in Leiden.
