Your role

Teaching:

The holder of the position will contribute to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, specialisation: Surgery ("Bachelor Assistance Technique Médicale de Chirurgie"). The selected candidate is expected to co-organize the bachelor programme. The individual will contribute to establish the training plan for specialized nurses, contribute to organize theoretical and practical teaching, and the evaluation during and at the end of the course, in relation with the teachers and tutors of the clinical placements. More particularly, the presence on the campus of students in medicine, biology, nursing and midwifery provides us with the possibility to establish common courses, to help students discover and understand the specificities of their different training and future professions at a very early stage and to have them work together in modern interprofessional simulation environments. This pooling of teaching will be based on the collaborative and joint work of teachers from the different health programmes.

The candidate will be responsible for developing the research programme and to contribute, according to one's expertise, to the current Nursing Education Research Programmes.

The distribution between the different activities (academic/research) will be adapted according to the holder's profile.

Your profile

  • Holder of a Nursing degree, a master's preferably in Nursing Science and a doctorate (PhD) preferably in Nursing Science or in Public Health. • Administrative experience and leadership qualities are essential
  • Experience in both nursing research and nursing education, including theoretical teaching and supervision of trainees, is essential
  • Clinical experience in Perioperative Nursing
  • Connection to nursing education departments in universities abroad
  • Collaboration or membership with European Nursing Societies
  • Experience in simulation training and being a holder of ERC certificate are considered as an asset
