Environmental policies are a critical element of sustainability in the hospitality industry and tourism industry projects and the Glion curriculum provides comprehensive representation of sustainability and ecology. Across our campuses, Glion’s environmental policies help to reduce water and energy consumption, cut food waste, as well as encouraging recycling and the use of bicycles as green transportation. Glion is also implementing the Sustainability Tracking Assessment & Rating System (STARS) and Bulle’s Tissot residence buildings not only meet Swiss MINERGIE® Standards, they are the most ecological buildings ever built in the town.
