Om arbetsgivaren

IMIBIC is a research health institute, founded in 2008 following an agreement between the Regional Ministry of Health, the Regional Ministry of Economy, Innovation, Science and Employment and the University of Cordoba.

It works in collaboration with the University of Cordoba and the Reina Sofia University Hospital, which is a public hospital strongly involved in training of health professional and known for its high level of care. The institute brings together scientific research and medical practice, with the aim of speeding up the translation of research results into clinical practice and the development of new therapies.

IMIBIC isaccredited within the framework of health centres of excellence recognised by the National Institute of Health Carlos III (ISCIII). It is managed independently by the Foundation for Biomedical Reseach of Cordona (FIBICO).
