The School of Computing is one of the largest Schools of Computing in Ireland with academic programmes that are at the leading edge of industry requirements within an innovation-intensive environment. Our School faculty is strongly focussed on applied research on different aspect of computer science, with current involvement in a number of EC Horizon 2020 projects in technology-enhanced learning, cloud computing, and big data. The School of Computing requires to fill 5 vacancies at the Lecturer position (equivalent to Assistant Professor) in the areas of Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing and Computing. The key functions of this position are to teach on a range of School programmes, develop curriculum and programme related materials, and carry out research in areas of cybersecurity. Ideal candidate will have a strong technical background.
