The project is a part of an ongoing research project aiming to better quantify muscle morphology in the spastic muscle. By measuring the muscle in vivo using diffusion tensor image (DTI), 3D subject-specific muscle fascicle parameters can be identified. These parameters are essential for the development of the computational muscle model, which in further can be used to study movement disorders and evaluate medical treatment. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing 3D DTI image processing and data analysis, assisting in the experimental measurement and document preparation.
